Myriad and New Wine:

Multiplying Churches Across the Nation

Myriad and New Wine have partnered to create a network of Church Planting Training Hubs — equipping and supporting leaders like you to start new churches that change communities.

A Partnership Built for This Moment

Something is stirring. Across the country, leaders are sensing a call to plant — to gather people, build community, and see Jesus transform lives in new places. But that call can feel daunting without the right preparation, relationships, and support around you.

That's why Myriad and New Wine have come together. By combining our networks, experience, and resources, we've created something neither of us could offer alone: a joined-up, rooted, relational training journey for the next generation of church planters.

What is a Church Planting Training Hub?

Our Hubs bring together cohorts of leaders in a region for hands-on, community-based training. You won't just learn about church planting — you'll do it in the company of others who are on the same journey. Each Hub offers:

  • A directed journey — asking you the key questions at the right time to unlock wisdom for the way
  • Mentorship — access to experienced planters who've been where you're going
  • Community — relationships with fellow planters that will sustain you for the long haul
  • Strengthened Oversight - training for the church leader who will oversee your church plant but not lead it themselves

You Don't Have to Figure This Out Alone

Whether you're a pioneer itching to start something new, or a pastor sensing God is nudging your church to multiply — there's a place for you in a Hub.

We believe the best church planters are formed in community, not in isolation. Our Hubs are designed to be a safe, stretching, encouraging space where vision gets sharpened and faith gets strengthened.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who leads it?

This is a joint effort between New Wine, Myriad and local churches with a vision for church planting in their area. Myriad is responsible for providing training content and partners with local churches who recruit teams and deliver the programme. New Wine connects us all with a vision of local churches transforming the nation in the power of the Spirit.

How long does it last?

The Myriad Pathways lasts for 2.5 years. Every six months, there is an in-person learning community (usually Friday evening and Saturday daytime), but this can vary between hubs. Half way between gatherings is a Mid Stage meeting, often on Zoom. Team leaders also have mentoring sessions twice every 6 months.

What are the entry requirements?

Every leader must be able to satisfy the following:

  1. They can articulate a sense of God's call to form a new disciple-making community (church), even if it is not fully formed yet.
  2. Their church leader will verify this and champion them, becoming their oversight minister.
  3. They are committed to the journey as part of a team. At an early stage, team may not have formed and this is fully expected. They will be expected to attend the first and second gatherings with at least one other person whilst their team forms.
I've already started - can I still join?

Yes! We have found that churches that have recently started often benefit from (re)visiting questions about vision and team, and that they have worked well alongside fully new communities. The benefit is more than just the content you cover, but the people you journey with.

How much does it cost?

Each hub runs differently and some may need to charge a fee to cover local costs. Please check with your local hub.

Do I get a certificate at the end?

Whilst this training does not gain you a formal qualification, each hub plans their own celebration and blessing at the end of the Pathway, usually involving a certificate of some kind!

How does this work alongside the New Wine Leaders Network?

New Wine Leadership Days are a great way for church leaders to engage and interact with one another, designed to ignite courage, sharpen calling, and equip you to lead with clarity and conviction. All leaders are welcome to attend these. You can find upcoming events here.
