Helping teams form and grow a new church community.

Designed for people who want to respond to God’s call to form a new church community, as well as those who are already underway. The Myriad pathway provides both the community and the structure to support your team in its formational stage.

What the Pathway is
Handshake icon
You bring the calling and the team. Myriad and your Hub bring the structure, the content, the mentoring and the wider network.

The Myriad Pathway is a structured, supported journey for those called to form new church communities. Over approximately two and a half years, leaders move through five stages of learning, practice, and formation - developing not just the skills and knowledge a new church community needs, but the character, depth, and resilience that will sustain one.

The Pathway is built around the conviction that forming a healthy church community is not primarily a project to be managed but a calling to be lived. Learning events, a peer community, team mentoring, and structural accountability create a rhythm that supports the whole person - not just a leader's competence, but their faith, their relationships, and their sense of God's call.

Leaders do not travel the Pathway alone: Every participant belongs to a learning community that regularly gathers throughout the journey. Additionally, each team is accompanied by a mentor and supported by an oversight minister.

The five stages of the Myriad Pathway reflect the natural arc of forming a new church community: from discerning a God-given vision, building a team, forming a disciple-making culture, to growing and sustaining a community that can multiply.

Delivered locally, through Hubs

The Pathway is delivered through Myriad Hubs — local partnerships between Myriad and local churches, organisations and dioceses, that create a space for teams who are forming new church communities to train side by side. Every Hub follows the same core Pathway, led by a Hub Leader and supported by experienced facilitators, mentors and oversight ministers, within the context of a learning community.
