Gather

Are you a church leader with a heart for your wider area?

Perhaps you long to see new church communities taking shape locally — and are wondering how you might create space for that to happen.

Hosting a Myriad Hub enables you to partner with us to deliver the Myriad Pathway in your area. Together, we support ordinary, everyday people who are discerning a call to form new church communities and make disciples.

We provide the framework, training and ongoing support, while you bring local leadership and context.

If you are considering whether this could serve your region, we would be glad to begin the conversation.
Why start a Hub
We partner with churches and networks of any denomination — Hubs already span Anglican, Baptist, independent and new church contexts.
Meet a gap

Where no Hub is within reach of teams who are ready and called.

Multiply capacity

One Hub trains several teams at once, cohort after cohort.

Join the movement

Hubs are the backbone of the vision to see thousands of new churches formed.

Strengthen your own church

Deepens a culture of calling, sending and multiplication.

Scale your efforts

Once you have run a Pathway once, you are free to run it a second time without the same dependency on the Myriad team.

Who does what
You provide
A Hub Leader — coordinator and local public face
A cohort of teams, from your church and others nearby
Five two-day gatherings over 2.5 years per cohort
Mentors and oversight ministers — provided or coordinated
Admin — applications, scheduling, comms, cost collection
A venue, and a share of gathering costs
Myriad provides
The full Pathway content and materials, all five stages
Training for your Hub Leader and mentors
A template for your Hub page, applications and promo
Network connection — Myriad and New Wine Hubs, shared learning
Ongoing relationship with the national team
You don't need to write a curriculum from scratch.
What we look for in a host
• Sponsor — backing and authority from someone with the standing to support the hub locally.
• Vision — the hub complements (not competes with) the local church's existing vision and strategy.
• Hub Leader — one person, or two co-leading, with the vision, skills, capacity, missional track record, and relational networks to set up the hub, lead gatherings, and invite others in; supported by a Myriad Partner.
• Pathway Participants — a pipeline of 8–10 leader/team combinations (minimum 6), each a leader plus at least one teammate, drawn from early adopters (already doing something, e.g. Messy Church) and new recruits sensing a call to plant.
• Finance — a funding plan for the pathway, at an indicative cost of £10–£15 per head per gathering, covering venue, running costs, and materials.
• Venue — a hospitable, well-located space suited to both plenary sessions and small groups.
• Team — Learning Community Facilitators (2–4), a Hub Administrator (0.2 FTE), a Prayer Lead, Mentors (one per leader), plus hospitality and tech support for gatherings.
• Oversight — every leader and team must have an Oversight Minister they're accountable to; Myriad provides an induction and an Oversight Pathway to equip those new to the role.
• Timescales — allow 6–12 months from initial discussion to launching Gathering 1, in parallel with 6–12 months to recruit leaders, teams, and hub team members.
How to start

Our experience is that it can typically take up to 12 months from saying “yes” to your first gathering. If you'd like to explore setting up a Hub, please get in touch to talk through the options for your region.
